Stone Fabricator

Summary Position works within fabrication, inventory, and material handling areas of the department. Essential Functions Will work on fabrication of stone, quartz or solid surface materials, depending upon business requirements. Responsible for sanding solid surface pieces with electric and air polishing tools as assigned. Loading and unloading of granite, marble, solid surfaces and quartz slabs with the use of forklifts and forklift attachments – adequate training will be provided. Ensure the proper maintenance of production equipment on a regular basis; filters, dust collectors, oiling of machinery, or other types of devices as assigned. Maintain a well‑organized, clean and safe work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Prior stone or solid surfaces fabrication experience preferred. Ability to multi‑task and work within specified timeframes. Ability to work in a fast paced, self‑directed environment. Current Fork Lift Certification required. Ability to problem‑solve.
