Registered Nurse – Operating Room – 6:00 PM–4:00 PM – Relocation Candidates Welcome Location: Fort Defiance, AZ Duration: 13 Weeks Specialty: Operating Room Shift Time: 6:00 PM–4:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week Start: 10/6/2026 We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital in Fort Defiance, AZ. In this role, you will provide expert perioperative nursing care across all phases of the surgical experience, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader OR team. Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive preoperative patient assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures • Serve in scrub and circulating roles to support a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures • Maintain strict aseptic technique and enforce infection control standards throughout the perioperative process • Anticipate surgeon needs and efficiently manage instrumentation, supplies, and equipment during procedures • Monitor and document patient safety, positioning, and physiologic status throughout the intraoperative phase • Coordinate care during patient handoff and provide thorough postoperative reporting to PACU staff • Participate in surgical counts, timeout procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety ✅ Requirements • Active AZ or Compact RN license • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications • 2+ years of Operating Room experience • CNOR certification preferred Pay Pay range: $2,376 to $2,491 per week. Travel OR RN package: up to $2,491/week (36 hours) = $34/hour taxable + up to $1,267/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $66/hour fully taxable ($2,376/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
