Senior Vice President of Finance About the Company Vibrant robotics & physical AI company Industry Research Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a full-time Head of Finance / SVP of Finance to lead the financial operations of the organization. This role is pivotal in the company's transition from R&D and pilot deployments to commercial scale and revenue generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, FP&A, controllership, treasury, compliance, and investor reporting. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a strategic approach to working with executives and investors, as well as the ability to build and improve financial controls and operational processes. The role offers a unique opportunity to build finance infrastructure from the ground up and is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in FP&A, controllership, treasury, and financial operations, particularly within venture-backed startups or technology environments. Applicants for the Head of Finance / SVP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, with a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and audit-ready financial reporting. The role demands a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a CPA designation is strongly preferred. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and board reporting is essential, as is the ability to manage external auditors, tax providers, and banking relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting the growth of Series B/C or later-stage startups, particularly in the areas of hardware, AI, robotics, or operationally intensive businesses. Strong leadership, cross-functional communication skills, and experience in building and scaling finance teams in high-growth environments are also key requirements for this position.
