Responsibilities Be a friendly face: arrive on time, set up the restaurant/lounge/cafe and keep the area clean and attractive throughout the meal period; complete all cleaning duties at closing, including floors, tables, buffet and sidework. Serve as a host: pour water, upsell food and beverage, make helpful suggestions, answer questions, remember names or favorite choices, offer friendly smiles, and give brief weather or local attraction tips. Act as a food professional: understand the food and beverage offerings, provide prompt excellent service, and handle cash and credit accurately and promptly. Ensure safety and security: follow hotel safety and security policies, anticipate problems and call management as needed. Qualifications High school education or equivalent preferred. At least one year of progressive experience in food and beverage service. ServSafe or Tips certification required. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally or up to 20 pounds frequently. Can bend, stretch, twist or reach with arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels, and stand and walk for long periods. Fluency in English and ability to work under stressful, high‑pressure situations while multi‑tasking.
