Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location : Covington, KY
Requirements of the Supplier Quality Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field required
  
• Minimum 3 years of Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Industrial Quality experience
  
• Experience conducting supplier audits and supplier development activities
  
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, PPAP, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and drive corrective actions
  
• Experience with quality management systems and supplier performance metrics
  
• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience preferred
  
• Knowledge of APQP, SPC, MSA, and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
  
• CQE or equivalent quality certification preferred
  
• Resume and interview required
  

• Manage supplier qualification and approval processes
  
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with quality standards
  
• Monitor incoming material quality through inspections, audits, and quality controls
  
• Investigate supplier-related quality issues and lead corrective action efforts
  
• Conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
  
• Partner with Procurement and Operations to improve supplier performance
  
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance reporting metrics
  
• Drive supplier development initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  
• Optimize material flow and traceability throughout the supply chain
  
• Maintain quality documentation, control plans, and inspection criteria
  
• Support company goals related to quality, cost, delivery, and risk reduction
  
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams
