Talent Acquisition Business Partner I

Our client is seeking a University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R) Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) to support early-career recruiting initiatives. This role focuses on building relationships with universities, supporting hiring managers, managing candidate pipelines, and coordinating campus recruiting activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing relationships with target universities and student organizations.
  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships with faculty, career services, and student organizations.
  • Developing and executing campus recruiting strategies to support early-career talent pipelines.
  • Maintaining engagement with candidates throughout academic recruiting cycles.
  • Screening, assessing, and presenting qualified early-career candidates.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection strategies.
  • Providing guidance regarding early-career talent market trends and campus recruiting strategies.
  • Coordinating campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement activities.
  • Promoting organizational culture and employment opportunities to students and university partners.
  • Supporting a positive candidate experience through clear communication and process transparency.
  • Utilizing data and metrics to support recruiting strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with recruiting policies and university guidelines.
  • Managing full-cycle recruiting activities for early-career and internship positions.
  • Collaborating with university recruiting teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining candidate activity and records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Developing and analyzing recruiting metrics.
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives.

Basic qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations; or
  • Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance.
  • Experience using Workday and Eightfold.
  • Previous talent acquisition experience in a corporate recruiting environment.
  • Experience supporting internship and early-career recruiting programs.

Additional requirements include:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be able to complete a comprehensive background check and any additional pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Must be able to meet any security clearance requirements associated with the position.
