Position : Packaging Operator

Job Summary

Responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products, ensuring finished products are packaged in accordance with procedures and Quality specifications to meet all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Candidate must be open/flexible for overtime. No drug screening required for this role; background check must be fully cleared before starting (no exceptions). Role may occasionally involve handling hazardous waste (200 proof ethanol), though this is rare for this specific position.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform finished product packaging as required to satisfy customer, internal, clinical, and other demand

• Inspect in-process packaging and components to ensure consistent quality; remove defective products and packaging materials

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts

• Perform simple mathematical calculations to assist in completion of batch records

• Assist with inventory counting activities as required

• Participate in safety audits and engage in daily safety discussions/observations

• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment

• Abide by all PPE and product contamination control (gowning) requirements

• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate (e.g., 200 proof ethanol, rare occurrence for this role)

• Follow procedures and quality specifications; read and understand documentation

Experience

• Minimum 6 months of industry work experience

Eligibility & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Ability to read and understand documentation; follow procedures and quality specifications

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required

• Must fully clear background check before starting (no exceptions)
