Receptionist/Therapy Aide- Part Time

Hiring a part-time Receptionist/Therapy Aide to join the Rehab Services department. This position will work approximately 15 hours per week, primarily in the afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, shifts and days of the week may vary. No weekends or holidays. Key Responsibilities Responsible for answering phones and scheduling patients in the Rehab Services department Calling insurance companies for eligibility/prior authorizations Transporting patients to and from Rehab Services to other areas of the hospital as needed Assisting therapists with patients as needed Cleaning patient rooms/equipment General office duties including scanning, faxing, phone calls, etc. Qualifications Education: Must be a High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent computer skills, including basic knowledge of Microsoft excel helpful. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask. Experience Insurance/medical background preferred. Applicant must pass background check, drug screen and health assessment including applicable vaccinations prior to hire. Position open until filled.
