Registered Nurse (RN) - Birth Center

Position Overview We’re seeking a staff RN to join our hospital‑based team at Good Samaritan Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care with a multidisciplinary approach. Position Details FTE: 0.75 ‑ Shift: Days ‑ Schedule: 12‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis. Utilize nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction. Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and the broader health care team. Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or obtained within five years of hire); RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in lieu of the education requirement. Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred. Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi‑state licensure endorsement (MSL). Current BLS certification required. ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification as required by facility or department. Certification in a specialty area preferred. One year of experience in an acute‑care setting preferred. Pay and Benefit Expectations Salary range: $44.13 – $85.17 per hour, with compensation influenced by skill set, experience, and certifications.
