3x12, Days with guaranteed weekly hours of 36. Schedules may vary based on department needs, including possible weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU is responsible for providing optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process. The incumbent will be accountable for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care, delivering comprehensive nursing services to patients in a Level 3 NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neonatal patients and their families.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in caring for a diverse neonatal population.
• Provide education and support to families and caregivers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years exclusive NICU experience in Level 3 NICU or higher.
• Experience with ventilator management.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license prior to hire.
