Flexible Schedule | $18–$22 per Hour | Growth Into Roofing Sales

Replace Pros is looking for motivated, outgoing Canvassers to help homeowners schedule free roof inspections in neighborhoods throughout the Pittsburgh area and surrounding communities.

This is a flexible, performance-driven opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, wants to earn reliable hourly income, and may be interested in moving into a full roofing Sales Representative role over time. You will be responsible for starting conversations with homeowners and setting qualified inspection appointments for a Team Leader. You will not be expected to inspect roofs, handle insurance claims, create estimates, or close the sale—the Team Leader will take over once an inspection is scheduled.

Canvassing areas may change based on recent storms and local demand, so applicants must be able to reliably get to assigned neighborhoods.

Compensation

• Estimated pay range of $18–$22 per hour , depending on experience
• Occasional bonus opportunities based on company needs, performance, or campaign results
• Independent contractor position (1099)
• Opportunity for advancement into a full Sales Representative role, with greater commission-based earning potential

Schedule and Availability

This position can be structured around part-time or full-time availability. Most canvassing takes place during evenings and weekends, when homeowners are more likely to be available, but shifts may be scheduled anytime between 9:00 a.m. and dark .

Appointments do not need to take place the same day they are set. Your focus is scheduling inspections at a time that works for the homeowner and the Team Leader.

Work is available year-round, although winter months are typically less active than the main roofing and storm seasons.

What You’ll Do

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods door-to-door and introduce homeowners to Replace Pros
• Start professional, friendly conversations about potential roof damage, aging roofs, or available inspection opportunities
• Schedule roof inspections for a Team Leader
• Record homeowner interactions and scheduled appointments using a smartphone and company-provided tools
• Work assigned territories that may change based on storms, active projects, and business needs
• Represent Replace Pros professionally while working in the community
• Communicate with the Team Leader regarding scheduled inspections and neighborhood activity

• Reliable transportation to assigned canvassing areas
• A positive, professional, and outgoing attitude
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Dependability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently
• Ability to walk neighborhoods and knock doors for extended periods
• Comfortable using a smartphone to track activity and appointments
• Prior canvassing, customer service, retail, call-center, or sales experience is helpful, but not required
