Senior Financial Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A initiatives, budgeting, productivity management, cost accounting, decision support, and operational finance. This individual will partner directly with department leaders to analyze labor standards, staffing ratios, volumes, and financial performance while helping standardize reporting and financial processes across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis, ROI evaluations, proformas, and long-range planning
• Own productivity reporting and labor analytics
• Analyze staffing ratios, department volumes, and workforce productivity metrics
• Generate reports from payroll, patient accounting, OR, and operational systems
• Support month-end financial reviews and reconciliations
• Conduct service line and entity-level financial analysis
• Partner with department directors and operational leaders on financial performance
• Assist with development of cost accounting and decision support capabilities

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of FP&A, Decision Support, or Financial Management experience within an Acute Care Hospital
• Strong hospital finance background with knowledge of hospital operations
• Experience owning annual budgets, forecasts, revenue, expense, and volume planning
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query preferred)
• Experience developing or supporting productivity/labor analytics
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Ability to independently analyze data and provide actionable insights
• Experience presenting findings and partnering with operational leaders
• Strong communication skills and follow-through

• MBA or Master's Degree
• Cost accounting implementation experience
• Power BI
• DataRails experience
• Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Business degree
