Interacts with medical staff and other outside entities regarding ultrasound matters.Must be proficient in vascular exams to include but not limited to carotid, venous, arterial, abdominal visceral, hemodialysis duplex, and physiological exams.Assists vascular surgeons in EVLT procedures.May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction.Participate in performance improvement initiatives.Participate in staff/student orientation training.RequirementsEducation: Graduated from accredited or ARRT approved ultrasound program.Experience: 2 years vascular ultrasound experience required. General computer skills as needed.Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required. Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Vascular Technology (RVT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International in Vascular Ultrasound (RVS).License: N/A
