Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Marathon Petroleum is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support safe, reliable operations across our refining and energy assets. In this role, you will design, specify, and maintain field instrumentation, control valves, and PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will develop control strategies, update P&IDs, support HAZOP/LOPA, and lead troubleshooting and commissioning activities. Collaborating with operations, maintenance, and project teams, you’ll drive performance, reliability, and continuous improvement in a safety-focused environment.
