Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care teaching hospital, requiring ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications and prior travel experience.

Details

• CT Scan department at a large acute care teaching hospital with over 700 licensed beds, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and certified stroke center
• 3x13-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on consecutive days starting Monday or Tuesday
• Shift start time may vary by up to 2 hours based on unit need, with advance notice provided
• On-call rotation shared with permanent staff
• One holiday shift or call shift required per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff
• May be required to float to a nearby satellite clinic location approximately half a mile from the main campus
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia grants emergency authorization while a permanent VA license is processing — license required if applicable
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Proficiency in radiation safety practices
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must live outside the facility's radius requirement to be eligible
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging including contrast administration and radiation safety protocols
• Shift coverage may occasionally be reduced by the facility, up to once per two-week period
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
