LOCATION: Beverly Hills, CA
PAY RANGE: $125K - $180K
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and argue various motions, including motions for preliminary and final approval and opposing motions to compel arbitration.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
- Provide strategic legal advice to the litigation teams.
- Review and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation.
- Attend court hearings and present arguments effectively.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience engaged in law and motion practice, preferably in employment law, and ideally PAGA and wage and hour class actions.
- Experience drafting and arguing motions in state and federal court.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- In-depth understanding of state and federal court procedures and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
