Salary: $22-30 DOE

The Structural Steel Production Welder is responsible to permanently join pieces and/or assemblies that have been temporarily fit in place by tack welds. The Welder welds materials according to the detail drawings and/or the weld symbols left by the fitter.

A thorough knowledge of welding procedures and practices are essential to ensure the quality of the product. You'll be successful if you have a positive attitude, and work well with a fast paced team. Think you have what it takes?

Your workday might look like this

• Perform welding on various materials at required position using different welding processes
• Work from a production schedule in a team environment
• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines according to job specifications and welding procedures.
• Adjust valves, gauges, and flames as needed and be capable of handling compressed gas and oxygen cylinders safely
• Operate air arc gouger, grinder, and other industry machines, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 1 or more years prior experience
• Must be able to consistently produce clean and accurate welds
• Candidates will be required to pass:
  • 1/16' Dual Shield E70T-1C in a 2G position

Work schedule is Monday through Fridays and overtime if needed. Benefits include travel incentives (including pay differentials and per diem), health and dental insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) Plan after probationary period.
