Job Title AWS AI Cloud Engineer The Opportunity As an AWS AI Cloud Engineer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end‑to‑end GenAI solution in a fast, agile environment. We’re looking for an experienced developer with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production ready. The position expects familiarity with cutting‑edge GenAI technologies, focusing on enterprise‑scale optimizations and modernizations for an operational system. Responsibilities This role is more than just coding. As a software engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Qualifications 5+ years of experience with software, including cloud-first development approach 2+ years of experience with Generative AI technologies and LLM deployment 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS or EKS, Amazon Bedrock, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS, and container orchestration Experience with developing and deploying production geospatial applications from concept to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam Bachelor’s degree Nice to Have Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation Experience with API management including batching, caching, throttling, and rate limiting Experience with LangGraph or LangChain Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation Full-time compensation ranges from $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 annually (USD). You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. Onsite: if the position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
