ED Registered Nurse- 36hr Rotating (Day/Night)

Position Overview As a Staff RN in Tertiary Care, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care grounded in the Lahey Clinic Professional Practice Model and ANA standards. You’ll work 36‑hour night shifts or 24‑hour rotating day/night shifts with shift differentials. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. Develop culturally competent plans of care based on patient needs. Provide age-appropriate evidence-based nursing interventions. Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans. Build strong relationships with patients and families. Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventative care. Integrate cultural, spiritual, and personal preferences into care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Support a positive, learning-focused clinical environment. Serve as a role model and resource for peers and team members. Apply evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement and regulatory readiness. Safely delegate tasks in accordance with MA Nurse Practice Act (244 CMR 3.0). Maintain accountability for patient outcomes and delegated tasks. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Active Massachusetts RN license. BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross). Skills & Experience Strong clinical judgment and technical skills. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities. Minimum one year of experience, preferably in an ED or Critical Care setting. Shift Differentials Weekday Evening: $3.00 Weekday Nights: $6.25 Weekend Days: $2.50 Weekend Evenings: $5.50 Weekend Nights: $8.75 Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $37.00 - $95.37 per hour (base hourly wage; may increase with shift differentials, call pay, etc.).
