Position Overview

PSERS is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to partner with business stakeholders and deliver data-driven insights, reporting solutions, and analytical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, Python, Power BI, stakeholder management, and data analytics, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into actionable solutions.

Note: Candidates must be local to the Harrisburg, PA area. Equipment pickup will be onsite on the first day, with occasional onsite visits as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and strategic goals.
• Translate business needs into analytical solutions and manage projects through completion.
• Acquire, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data for accuracy and quality.
• Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, risk indicators, and business insights.
• Create and deliver impactful dashboards, visualizations, and presentations for leadership and business users.
• Develop, maintain, and automate recurring reporting and analytics processes.
• Serve as a risk and performance analytics liaison for assigned business areas.
• Document best practices, share knowledge, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional analytics initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Data Analyst experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnership skills
• Experience with risk and performance analytics
• Strong understanding of value-driven prioritization
• Advanced Tableau experience ( Required )
• Experience with Power BI
• Strong SQL skills
• Python programming experience
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Degree
• Experience working with large enterprise analytics environments
• Experience presenting insights to executive leadership
• Experience supporting strategic business initiatives through analytics
