ASPHALT SEALCOATING TECHNICIAN

Open Positions PAVING CREW LABORER : Responsible for performing tasks involving physical abilities; cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment; have some knowledge of related equipment, applicable safety principals, methods, and procedures specific to asphalt work; use of safety equipment and protective gear; possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record. Duties listed are not intended to be inclusive; there may be other duties that are essential to position. ASPHALT SEALCOATING TECHNICIAN : We are seeking a technician who has experience with the methods necessary for the proper application of sealcoating material, has the capability to work in a team setting, and in a variety of weather conditions; has effective communication skills to speak with co-workers, customers and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times. Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: cleaning and preparation of pavement surfaces, such as brooming, shoveling and raking; crack filling, the application of sealcoating material using a long handled squeegee and/or spray wand to driveways and parking lots; preparing and maintaining necessary equipment; also, perform other duties as assigned. The successful applicant must have great attention to detail regarding final appearance. Job type: Seasonal.
