Job Description Job Description Certified Medical Assistant - Float HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a large healthcare organization in Pasadena, CA . Daily Responsibilities for Certified Medical Assistant - Float: Traveling to 3 clinics within the Pasadena area to administer flu vaccines- different clinic each day. Administering flu vaccines on a daily basis. Assisting with rooming patients when flu traffic is slow Venipuncture skills Assisting with tasking queues for clinicians Full address(es) where work will take place: 988 S. Yes If yes, when and how often? 3 clinics in Pasadena Will they travel to more than one location within a work shift? No. 1 location per work day Shift start & end times: 8am-5pm Work days per week: M-F Dress code/scrub color: Dark blue scrubs Required Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant - Float: Must have Medical Assistant certificate Phlebotomy trained/certified Preferred Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant - Float: Customer Service, multi-tasking, good people skills – they will need to be very outgoing as they will be offering flu vaccines to patients as they come into our clinic. So someone with good people skills and assertiveness would be great!
