• Setting: Outpatient pulmonary clinic (Pulmonary NP, Locum Tenens)
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Shifts per Week: 5 shifts per week
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Duration: Minimum 60 days, potential to extend up to 13 weeks
• Support Staff: Medical assistant and supervising physician
• EMR: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred)
• Call Schedule: No call responsibilities

• Minimum 1 year of pulmonary experience as a Nurse Practitioner (Pulmonary NP, CRNP, APRN)
• Active CRNP license or equivalent state NP license
• Vaccination compliance required for all work-related vaccines
• Experience with outpatient pulmonary care, medication management, and follow-up procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Strong skills in PFT interpretation, spirometry, inhaler education, and COPD/asthma management

• Manage outpatient pulmonary patients including medication management and follow-up for PFTs and spirometry
• Provide same-day sick visits, routine follow-ups, and hospital follow-up coordination as needed
• Average panel: 12-15 patient encounters per shift
• Collaborate with medical assistants and supervising physicians to deliver comprehensive pulmonary care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC EMR and communicate care plans effectively
• Educate patients on inhaler technique, oxygen therapy, and chronic respiratory disease self-management
