Job Description
ICU RN - General Med Surg

Schedule:
12hr Night Shift, 12x3

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- 3+ years of ICU experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
- Current MT or compact nursing license
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Proficient in managing respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, overdose, detox, CHF, and complex post-operative surgical cases
- Knowledge of Bipap/Cpap, HHF, Heparin, insulin, and amiodarone drips

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care to patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must float to Med Surg when needed.
