Job Description

Selectek is partnering with a firm in Doraville, GA to hire a Plumbing Engineer on a direct hire basis. Candidates will oversee the design, development, and implementation of plumbing systems for various healthcare and commercial projects .

Expected Pay Range: $75,000-$105,000 annual salary, depending on experience and certification
Location: Doraville, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p

Job Duties:

Lead the design and engineering of complex plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, natural gas, and specialty systems.
Develop and review detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure all plumbing designs comply with local, state, and national building codes and standards (IPC, UPC, NFPA, ASPE, etc.).
Perform and oversee hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and fixture unit calculations.
Utilize design software such as Revit and plumbing calculation tools.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes are followed.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and as-built drawings.
Conduct field visits for inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
7 plus years of plumbing engineering experience
Knowledgeable of various plumbing and fire protection system designs
Revit Proficiency
Strong understanding of relevant plumbing codes
