Our Strategy service line focuses on clarifying ambiguity and architecting transformational pathways for clients to prosper with resilience.

What You Will Do : As a Manager, you are a team player, people developer, and strategy practitioner, leading with analytical excellence, strategic thinking, structured problem solving, and planning. Your experience includes advising Payer/Provider clients on strategic planning, operating model design, competitive agility, enterprise transformation, cost reduction, M&A, service line strategy, product strategy, and innovation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Project Leadership and Execution: Support day-to-day delivery of complex client engagements from inception to completion. Apply advanced strategic frameworks to solve complex business problems. Support or lead research, hypothesis generation, quantitative/qualitative analyses, insight creation, and deliverable development. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Advanced Analytics and Problem-Solving: Direct in-depth data analysis and modeling to generate actionable insights. Synthesize findings to develop comprehensive recommendations. Lead or oversee financial analyses or modeling (e.g., scenario and sensitivity analyses, pro forma development, correlation analyses).
• Client Relationship Management: Build relationships with clients as a trusted Guidehouse team leader and strategy practitioner. Understand and anticipate client needs, translate them into actionable decisions and solutions. Manage client expectations and ensure high satisfaction.
• Team Development and Mentorship: Earn trust through curiosity and collaboration. Lead, coach, and mentor junior consultants to enhance skills and performance. Foster a collaborative culture with knowledge sharing, innovation, and career growth. Provide regular feedback and contribute to performance evaluations.
• Business Development and Practice Development: Support proposals addressing client needs and market demands. Represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events. Participate in internal Strategy practice initiatives including business development, offering development, people development, thought leadership, and community engagement.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of consulting or relevant work experience
• Track record of creative problem-solving, self-motivation, and analytical prowess
• Excellent financial and quantitative analysis skills with experience in business case development and modeling
• Entrepreneurial spirit in growing Guidehouse’s healthcare practice
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau and/or Alteryx
• Ability to travel as needed; up to 75%
