This role is ideal for someone who is confident performing tire services, preventative maintenance, and light mechanical repairs while delivering outstanding customer service.What You'll DoAs a Service Technician II, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles while ensuring every customer leaves with confidence in the safety and performance of their vehicle.Tire ServicesMount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires.Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.Recommend tire replacement and maintenance based on vehicle condition.Perform TPMS service and understand wheel configurations, bolt patterns, valve stems, and tire specifications.Preventative MaintenancePerform oil and filter changes.Inspect and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid.Perform coolant, brake, and transmission fluid exchanges.Replace air, cabin, and fuel filters.Complete comprehensive vehicle inspections and communicate findings.Basic Mechanical RepairsPerform light mechanical repairs and replacements, including:BrakesSuspension componentsSteering componentsWiper bladesBatteriesHeadlights and taillightsRecognize dashboard warning indicators and identify potential maintenance concerns.Customer ServiceGreet customers professionally and understand their service needs.Explain inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.Maintain accurate service documentation.Assist with inventory, receiving, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.RequirementsWhat We're Looking ForMust be at least 18 years of age.Automotive, tire, or mechanical experience preferred.Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.Professional DevelopmentTIA Certification is not required at hire. We'll provide the training and support you need to earn your certification and continue advancing your career.Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment.
