Acute Rehab Physician - Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO Join Mosaic Life Care, where you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life in our 18‑bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. We proudly partner with Lifepoint Health to deliver a diverse and integrated healthcare experience. You'll work alongside a dedicated therapy team, case manager, clinical liaisons, unit director, and an IRF‑PAI coordinator—all focused on supporting your success and ensuring high‑quality patient care. Position Details Provide medical leadership for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) 100% inpatient Provide a minimum of 20 hours per week to meet Medicare and regulatory requirements for ARU operations Hours may include a combination of clinical and administrative services Flexible shift scheduling available On‑call coverage required from 7 AM–7 PM, one weekend per month Completed a formal PM&R residency, a minimum 1‑year rehabilitation fellowship, or equivalent training/experience, including a 1‑year hospital internship and at least 2 years managing inpatient rehabilitation as part of a collaborative medical team.
