Key responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer include:

• Perform pediatric and adult cardiac ultrasounds, including EFs measurements
• Assist with procedures such as pericardiocentesis
• Conduct TEEs, stress tests, and bubble studies
• Prepare preliminary findings for physician review
• Participate in orientation of new hires as needed

Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer include:

• 2 years of acute care Echo experience
• BLS, ARDMS-RDS or RDCS certification
• Experience with a range of cardiac conditions and patient types
• Comfortable performing pediatric scans
