The Senior Subcontracts Manager assists in moderately complex and routine subcontract administration functions to include review and negotiation of agreements, subcontracts and other contractually related documents.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Responsible for all aspects of subcontract formation and administrationSupport general procurement activities as requiredEvaluates requirements and prepares RFQ/RFP’s including assignation correct prime contract flow-down provisionsEvaluates subcontractor proposals including analyzing exceptions to terms, performing risk assessments and cost or price analysis as necessaryDevelops negotiation strategy and negotiates and awards subcontractsProduces and maintains all subcontract recordsDevelops and documents small business plans in accordance with government regulationsMonitors performance of subcontractors, negotiates changes and performs closeout on subcontracts in accordance with company proceduresEstablishes and maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external customers Prepares and negotiates other agreements when requested Assists in updating department policies and procedures and contractual documents, including research of current regulations and laws Participate in special projects as neededFrequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for tracking and reporting of dataQualifications & Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DCAA and other agency regulationsFamiliar with DCAA auditsExcellent verbal, written and presentation skillsAdvanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently and exhibit excellent problem-solving skillsDisplays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practicesEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in a Business-related fieldA combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a BS degreeAdditional specific government contract management education or certifications a plusEight (8) plus years of experience in various types of subcontracts for complex items or R&D under federal government contracts, including cost-type and fixed priceCitizenship:Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.What can Teledyne offer YOU?A Competitive Salary & Benefits PackageExcellent Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance as of First DayPaid Vacation and Sick TimePaid Holidays401(k) Eligibility with Company MatchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEducational Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Fun Events throughout the year#TS&ISalary Range: $96,600.00-$128,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
