About The Role As a Psychometrist at Quincy Medical Group, you will administer, score, and document standardized psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental assessments under the direct supervision of licensed professionals. Depending on department assignment, you may work with pediatric or adult patients with a wide range of cognitive, developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs. Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position, Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Clinical setting combining direct patient interaction, standardized testing, scoring, documentation, and administrative support. Primary Responsibilities Administer standardized psychological, neuropsychological, intellectual, and developmental assessments according to established testing protocols. Clearly explain testing instructions and adapt communication and rapport-building to each patient's age, developmental level, and individual needs. Accurately score assessments using normative data, clinical software, and standardized scoring guides. Observe and document patient behavior, effort, responses, and other relevant information throughout testing. Prepare and maintain testing environments according to publisher standards to protect the validity and reliability of results. Accurately enter testing and screening results and maintain complete documentation within the medical record. Support patient scheduling, provider calendars, testing appointments, and other administrative workflows related to psychological services. Assist with mental health screenings, triage, and coordination of referrals as needed. Review patient information and documentation for completeness and accuracy, including prior evaluations, medications, and therapy services. Collaborate with licensed professionals and other members of the care team to support efficient, high-quality patient evaluations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field required; coursework in statistics or research methods preferred. CPR certification required within six months of employment. Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) preferred and may be obtained after meeting applicable experience requirements. CPI training preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow standardized testing and scoring protocols. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with pediatric or adult patients based on department assignment. Ability to accurately observe, document, and score patient responses and performance. Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple testing sessions, schedules, and documentation requirements. Comfort working with patients who may have cognitive, developmental, behavioral, sensory, or mental health needs. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $19.59 - $29.39 per hour , with actual pay determined by experience, education, skills, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through bonuses and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
