Role Overview The Speech Therapist in Home Health assesses, evaluates, and treats patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments to improve their communication and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities Provide speech therapy services within legal scope, following the care plan, and collaborating with the healthcare team Assess patient functionality using diagnostic tests and assist in developing therapy plans with physicians Conduct treatment to enhance communication skills based on patient condition Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to supervisors Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on speech therapy techniques and participation Qualifications & Skills Licensed in Speech Therapy in the resident state Current CPR certification Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit Availability for weekend rotations Compensation & Benefits Pay ranges from $34.23 to $61.15 per hour, based on experience and location.
