Applicants need thoracic and vascular experience including heart and valve replacements. Unit specifics include 17 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing description includes 1 RN and 1 CST per room, turnover staff, 1 charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage. Type of equipment includes XI Robot, advanced spine, and Mako joint robot. The documentation system is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include 3 call shifts (12 hours) per 4 weeks; both days and nights are available. There is no floating policy required. Advanced skills include general circulating knowledge for positioning, prepping, and facilitating cases in surgical areas such as general, trauma, ortho, urology, GYN, plastics, and neuro. Procedures performed include surgical interventions in general, trauma, ortho (trauma and elective joints/sports medicine), urology, gyn, XI robotic utilization, plastics, and complex neuro services. This position requires circulating RN experience in general OR, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, vascular, trauma, and robotic Client and urology cases.
