Think you have what it takes? How You’ll Contribute: Kaufman Rossin has an exciting career opportunity for a Cost Segregation Engineer to join our dynamic Tax practice, in South Florida. This is a great growth opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with knowledge of cost estimation, construction management, or tangible property services. You will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers and tax experts to help our clients identify advantageous classification of assets. Assist with performing cost segregation and fixed asset studies from start to finish Coordinate and collect information from building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors Conduct site visits to collect information Assist with providing detailed cost analysis of commercial/industrial building projects Perform quantity surveys from construction documents and physical site inspections Analyze construction cost data and design drawings Estimate construction costs using nationally recognized costing sources Actively contribute to the development of the cost segregation practice What Skills You’ll Bring Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other relevant fields 1 - 3 years of Cost Segregation experience Ability to understand and analyze construction blueprints This position requires some local and national travel How You’ll Stand Out: Experience with cost estimation, construction management, or tangible property services Excellent verbal communication and strong writing skills Enjoy complex and challenging project work Ability to work overtime when needed We embrace authenticity.
