Neurology Physician

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday Friday, approximately 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  
• Full-time preferred; minimum 3 days/week required
  
• 100% outpatient clinic coverage
  
• No inpatient coverage
  
• No night, weekend, holiday, or other call
  
• Provider may rotate among three outpatient locations in Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and Atlantic City, with one location assigned per day
  
• Schedule/site rotation coordinated in advance based on patient needs and provider availability
  

Practice Details:

• Approximately patients/day
  
  • 3 5 new patients
  • follow-ups
• Patient population: 60% Adult / 40% Geriatric
  
• Established neuroscience program and referral network
  
• No trauma/emergency coverage
  
• No teaching or leadership responsibilities
  

Clinical Responsibilities:

Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric general-neurology patients, including:

• Headache/migraine
  
• Seizure disorders
  
• Neuropathy
  
• Movement disorders
  
• Multiple sclerosis
  
• Cognitive disorders
  
• Post-stroke follow-up
  

Additional duties include reviewing imaging/labs and outside records, ordering diagnostic testing, medication management, coordinating care with PCPs/APPs/specialists, and completing documentation, patient messages, test-result reviews, and follow-ups.

EMR: Cerner / Oracle Fusion

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurology
  
• ABPN or AOBNP required
  
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license or willingness to obtain
  
• DEA and NJ CDS required
  
• BLS required
  
• Consistent adult outpatient neurology experience
  
• Willingness to rotate among the three locations
  
• Cerner or comparable EMR experience preferred
  
• Current clinical activity in specialty required
