With expertise spanning civil/site engineering, environmental permitting, transportation infrastructure, construction management, and advanced surveying technologies, we are committed to delivering high-quality, timely solutions to local, state, and federal clients.We are seeking an experienced Coating Inspector to support major rail, bridge, and transportation infrastructure projects. The Coating Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and documenting surface preparation, coating application, and quality control activities to ensure work complies with project specifications, approved coating systems, manufacturer requirements, and applicable industry standards.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inspecting structural steel coatings on bridges, rail infrastructure, stations, transit facilities, or other heavy civil structures. This position requires strong technical knowledge of coating systems, surface preparation, environmental conditions, inspection procedures, and documentation.The Coating Inspector will work closely with contractors, construction managers, engineers, project managers, and agency representatives to identify deficiencies, verify corrective actions, and ensure coating work meets the requirements of the contract.This position will support various rail/bridge projects throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties with a daily schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
