Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a fast-paced Level 2 trauma CCU night shift position requiring strong cardiac experience and AR or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• CCU (ICU) unit within an acute care hospital setting,
• Level 2 trauma center handling the full cardiovascular service line except transplants,
• Highest acuity unit in the area,
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, every other weekend,
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week,
• Uses Cerner EMR, transitioning to Epic in November 2026,

Job Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• BSN not required for this position,
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS,
• Strong cardiac nursing experience required,
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing in a busy, high-acuity cardiovascular unit,
• Candidates previously employed directly (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible,
• Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered,
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
