About the Department Heart Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. Our state‑of‑the‑art facilities provide comprehensive cardiovascular care and operate two advanced labs, including EP, vascular, and coronary procedures. Position Details Employment Type: Full Time Shift: Day Shift Department: Heart Catheterization Lab Location: Trinity Health Livonia Case Volume Catheterization (Cath) Cases: 5–10 per day, including diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), stent placement, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), and STEMI treatment. Responsibilities Assists the cardiologist in a variety of invasive and non‑invasive procedures including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker and ICD implants, cardioversions, tilt‑table tests, electrophysiology procedures, and ablations. Prepares patients for procedures, provides education and care according to age‑specific criteria, and administers medications. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the visit. Participates in operational and clinical activities to maintain department compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Covers emergency, off‑shift, and on‑call rotations, including weekends and holidays. Requirements Associate’s degree in nursing required. BSN degree preferred; or written agreement to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. ACLS and BLS certification required. Six to twelve months of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Emergency, and/or CCU required. Computer proficiency and excellent customer‑service skills necessary. Benefits Competitive compensation.
