# Phlebotomist IApply: GBH Glenbrook Hospital Glenview: Part time: Posted Today: R47898**Hourly Pay Range:**$19.22 - $27.87 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Phlebotomist I* Location: Glenbrook Hospital* Status: Part Time, 20 hours* Hours: Monday-Friday, 2pm-6pm, e/o weekend and rotating holidays **What you will do:*** Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/Director* Responsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimens* Collect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population served* Collect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized**What you will need:*** Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience* Certification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required from the AHA and PBT (ASCP) certification preferred* Experience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred* Unique or Preferred Skills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills. **Benefits:*** Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
