High Reach / Electric Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Shift: 2nd Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced High Reach / Electric Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating a Raymond high-reach forklift and an electric sit-down forklift, including safely handling merchandise at heights of up to 40 feet.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Raymond high-reach forklift to move, store, and retrieve merchandise at heights of up to 40 feet.
- Operate an electric sit-down forklift for loading, unloading, and moving pallets.
- Perform put-away and order-picking activities in a high-rack warehouse environment.
- Safely maneuver equipment in narrow aisles and elevated storage areas.
- Move, stack, and organize pallets according to warehouse procedures.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report any safety concerns.
- Verify merchandise and maintain accurate inventory movement.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a Raymond high-reach forklift is required.
- Experience operating an electric sit-down forklift is required.
- Must be comfortable operating a high-reach forklift at heights of up to 40 feet.
- Experience with high-rack storage and put-away operations is strongly preferred.
- Ability to safely move and handle pallets in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be dependable and able to work the assigned second shift.
