Exciting new retail store near downtown Palm Springs seeking retail sales associate with assorted all-around skills. Job includes greeting & assisting customers, cash register checkout, taking inventory, restocking, various types of cleaning, local errands, minor handyman duties and more. Must be willing to undertake occasional moderate lifting and dirty refurbishing. Digital photography, posting, and social networking experience on FB, IG, U-Tube, etc. most helpful. Prior retail experience preferred but not required. This is a small business start-up with many duties that will evolve over time. The ideal candidate will be personable, presentable, flexible, well-spoken, a quick learner and good communicator. Honesty and promptness are absolutely required. Our inventory selection will include mixed goods with an emphasis on unusual higher-end merchandise, and our employees must be able to represent such goods to their best advantage.
