Analyst IV Channel Management

Overview The Analyst IV, Channel Management, serves as a senior analytical leader within the ADUSA Procurement organization. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end channel optimization, leading the implementation of flow path recommendations, and stewarding the largest and most complex categories within the Channel Management team. The Analyst IV provides advanced analytical expertise, develops scalable tools and methodologies, and influences strategic decisions that reduce net landed cost and improve cost-to-serve across the network. This individual acts as a senior subject matter expert and strategic partner to Category, Item Lifecycle, In-Stock, and Shelf Management teams. They lead cross-functional initiatives, support high-visibility projects, and ensure that channel recommendations are executed effectively and sustainably. The Analyst IV also mentors junior analysts and contributes to the evolution of channel governance, standards, and best practices. Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC. Responsibilities Lead Vendor Flow Path Optimization Lead analysis and optimization of vendor supply chain health for the largest and most complex categories. Drive implementation of flow path recommendations, ensuring measurable progress and adoption across stakeholders. Oversee vendor health scorecarding, net landed cost performance, and long-term channel strategy. Provide senior-level guidance on AdHoc vendor/item analyses for executive and cross-functional partners. New Business Flow Path Governance Serve as the lead authority on flow path decisions for new business, ensuring optimal cost, service, and sustainability outcomes. Develop and enforce governance standards that maximize cost savings and operational efficiency. Partner with leadership to evaluate new business opportunities and model long-term supply chain impacts. Execution leadership Lead cross functional group through process to execute agreed upon Channel recommendations. Organize and track progress of execution of tasks holding partners accountable to their role in the process to make Channel change. Cross-Functional Leadership & Relationship Management Lead strategic partnerships with Category, In-Stock, Supply Chain POD teams, and other internal stakeholders. Represent Supply Chain as the senior voice in Category Review Cycles for the largest categories. Facilitate alignment on goals, priorities, and technical considerations across departments. Mentor and coach Channel Analysts III, supporting capability development and knowledge transfer. Supply Chain Subject Matter Expertise Act as a senior expert on supply chain trends, industry changes, and emerging channel strategies. Lead the development of alternate product channels and innovative supply chain solutions using advanced research and design methodologies. Support and guide major cross-functional projects, pilots, and transformation initiatives. Translate enterprise strategy into actionable channel management plans and execution frameworks. Requirements Knowledge Deep cross-functional project leadership experience. Advanced knowledge of supply chain, operations, business analytics, and category management. Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, and other analytical tools. 5+ years of combined experience in supply chain, operations, inventory management, sourcing, logistics, or related fields. Familiarity with systems such as SEGA, DSS, Relex, Biceps, WMS, Alteryx, Tableau. Skills Exceptional critical thinking, structured problem solving, and analytical capabilities. Strong communication, presentation, and executive-level influencing skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Proven relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills. Demonstrated ability to innovate using industry‑standard research and design methodologies. Strong quantitative and qualitative decision‑making techniques. Ability to lead others through influence and subject matter expertise. Abilities Ability to lead day‑to‑day and long‑term responsibilities for major categories. Ability to influence without authority and drive adoption of recommendations across functions. Ability to lead teams, mentor analysts, and support capability development. Ability to think strategically and innovatively while balancing short‑term and long‑term priorities. Ability to translate enterprise strategy into actionable supply chain execution. Ability to travel up to 10% domestically. Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Experience Demonstrated ability to transform complex, multi‑source data into actionable business intelligence. Experience collaborating with vendors, transportation providers, and third‑party partners. Six Sigma, APICS, CPM, or other analytical/supply chain certifications preferred. Experience leading organizational change and understanding impacts to people, processes, and policies. Experience with advanced analytical tools and supply chain systems (SEGA, DSS, Relex, Biceps, WMS, Alteryx, Tableau). ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $92,640 - $138,960 IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $106,480- $159,720 Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions.
