Job Responsibilities

• Personalize Therapy Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and formulate individualized treatment approaches to help them reach their goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven methods to support the development of patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care
• Teach Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapy practices to encourage continued improvement at home
• Monitor Progress: Document clinical outcomes and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients progressing towards their goals

Education & Credentials

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is required
