About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Workforce and Adult Learning Pathways to provide unified executive leadership for its mission-critical, opportunity-centered programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Fast Track program, the Prison Education Program, and the Alabama Workforce Ecosystem Initiative. This role involves integrated leadership in recruitment, admissions, curriculum development, faculty engagement, and ensuring compliance with various educational and workforce standards. The Executive Director will also be tasked with growing enrollment, expanding instructional sites, and building partnerships with employers and workforce boards. Essential duties include developing and executing annual plans with measurable outcomes, supervising staff, and maintaining a high level of student satisfaction. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a doctorate, and at least 5 years' of experience in adult, degree-completion, continuing education, workforce development, or correctional-education programming. The role requires a strong background in program development, regulatory knowledge, and experience in building and maintaining partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, marketing, and the ability to lead a team to achieve high enrollment and completion rates. Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills are essential, as is the ability to travel and work flexible hours.
