Mechanical Assembler III

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC PRIMARY FUNCTION Assemble kits made of mechanical parts, hardware, fasteners, adhesives. Perform assembly of mechanical piece parts into sub-assemblies to top‑level assemblies, perform integration, sheet metal work, and assemble & repair assemblies made of composite material. Position requires the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, part numbers, and their descriptions, including markings and workmanship requirements for acceptability. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Read drawings, use tools, communicate with co‑workers and supervisor, and handle multiple jobs simultaneously. Follow processes consistently. Assist less experienced assemblers in their daily job requirements. Understand hardware, primer, and adhesive specifications. Review drawings, bills of material, and part descriptions of mechanical parts, fasteners, washers, spacers, and similar parts. Assemble kits using kitting instructions, accurately reading parts, quantities, revisions. Accurately assemble mechanical parts using examples, assembly drawings, or instructions. Perform sheet‑metal work—cutting, bending, drilling, fastening—using shop tools per assembly drawings. Fill forms, record data, verify count accuracy, and check assembly description, dimensions, size, color. Have a background and prior work experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, military, or army. This is considered a must. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. The position has the authority to carry out assigned tasks. Personnel who demonstrate consistent leadership, communication skills, technical knowledge, and proactive involvement may be considered for promotion to lead roles. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Beginner to intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional software. Enter data accurately into databases. Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Work effectively and cooperatively with all management and staff levels. Trustworthy; handle confidential information routinely. Use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier. Follow processes. Provide strong customer service skills, including active listening and prompt follow‑up. Analyze data, evaluate impacts, justify decisions, and communicate issues to management and regulatory agencies. Learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to company goals. Perform basic mathematical computations, detect non‑obvious facts and issues, and resolve problems resourcefully. Work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision. Use multitasking skills. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or trade school graduate with 10 years of technical experience in aerospace, military, defense, manufacturing, army, assembly, or similar background. Some work experience as an assembler or apprentice. Pass a drug and background screening. Ability to use a computer, multitask, and follow processes; overtime may be required. Obtain and maintain a government security clearance. WORKING ENVIRONMENT A fast‑paced, multitasking, customer‑service oriented environment requiring efficient and effective performance. Adaptability to schedule and task changes is necessary; overtime may be required.
