Job Opportunity We are growing and we are looking for a Surgical Counselor to join our team! You Are Ready to live out our core values in patient and team member interactions Committed to patient education and providing excellent customer service Detail-oriented, and good at managing multiple priorities A clear and concise communicator You Will Make an Impact By Ensuring thorough patient education and counseling about refractive, laser and surgical procedures. Scheduling refractive, laser and surgical procedures for patients; overseeing maintenance and distribution of schedules. Educating patients on financial responsibility, answering questions on financial documents, and ensuring patients sign any necessary consent forms. Answering patient phone calls regarding questions or concerns. Providing other related services to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Communicating with supervisor and/or surgeon regarding potential patient concerns. Making follow‑up calls to potential refractive candidates.
