Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Specialist based in the local area. This role involves providing specialized care for high-acuity neonatal patients in a Level III NICU environment. Candidates will be responsible for managing complex neonatal cases, attending high-risk deliveries, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), valid compact licensure in the state, BLS and NRP certifications, experience with high-frequency ventilators, blood product administration, central line care, neonatal dosing calculations, and attending high-risk deliveries
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), especially Epic, and previous charge nurse experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required between different campuses including First Hill, Issaquah, Edmonds, or Pediatrics/NBN units, with responsibility for neonatal and infant care only
• Additional Information: Candidate must have at least one year of relevant experience, with a minimum of three years required for NICU Level III or IV. The position involves attending neonatal surgeries, managing ventilator and cooling therapy, and performing specialized procedures such as PICC line placement and administering blood and blood products. The assignment begins on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 01/04/2027. Travelers must be open to working at multiple campus locations with scheduled days off and holiday coverage commitments.
