This position offers a $2,000 (1 year stay-on agreement) or 4,000 (2 year stay-on agreement) Sign On Bonus with the agency! This bonus will be provided upon completion of a probationary period.

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Crisis Stabilization Coordinator, serves as a master's level professional clinician performing a wide range of direct and indirect services within a multi-disciplinary, crisis-oriented team to consumers experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, substance use disorders and developmental disabilities who are in crisis, needing stabilization. Responsible for extensive case documentation. Assesses challenging behaviors and emotional trauma by interviewing and observing consumers, reviewing appropriate records and developing a specific crisis stabilization plan often using a strength-based model. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures.

Requirements: Possession of a master's degree in social work, Psychology or related field is required. One year experience (professional or paraprofessional) in treating or working with persons with mental illness required or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience working with persons experiencing mental health crisis required. Possession of appropriate State of Michigan credentials is required. Must pass background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, undergo & pass Central Registry Screening, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. Must be able to perform Handle with Care Behavior Management techniques according to approved Agency standards. Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license is required. Access to reliable means of transportation for job-related use required. Must pass a State of Michigan police clearance check. May be required to be fingerprinted. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary: $60,604.52-$68,790.79 annually; $29.14-33.07 per hour with annual increases up to $79,538.27. Compensation may be adjusted based on relevant education and experience. Shift Incentive: + $1.25/hour for hours worked 5pm - 12am | + $2/hour for hours worked 12am - 8am | + $3/hour for weekends worked Friday 5pm - Monday 8am.

Schedule : 7pm-7:30am; rotating weekends and holidays.
