Research Study Assistant (Multiple Opportunities)

Job Description Department of Emergency Medicine has multiple outstanding opportunities for Research Study Assistant to join their team. About this Opportunity Report to Research Coordinator 4, the Research Study Assistant will coordinate and perform work in support of clinical and health services research at Harborview Medical Center and UWMC. Projects will cover a wide range of clinical pathways with a focus on out of hospital cardiac arrest, traumatic injuries, strokes, sepsis, and opioids. The responsibilities of this role, including participant recruitment, sample processing and study documentation, are essential to maintaining grant compliance. The research study assistant will work in a team environment that includes faculty, fellows, medical students, and other key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Screen and appropriately enroll eligible subjects on various protocols. (20%) Assist with development and maintenance of research databases. (20%) Complete data entry for study subjects. (20%) Gather, record, organize, transcribe, and verify the accuracy of research study data. (20%) Process bio specimens per lab guidelines. (10%) Perform related duties as required.
