Opportunity:

RN - Supervisor

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 6-week schedule cycle with every other weekend rotation
• Every other major holiday requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios average up to 6 patients per nurse depending on staffing
• Minimum 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• ACLS certification preferred
• Must have general Medical/Surgical skillset including traches, chest tubes, ability to read/interpret cardiac rhythm strips, and experience with Lasix, insulin, and heparin drips
• Experience with wound vacs required
• Must be proficient with EPIC EMR system
• Work with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Float to any Medical/Surgical unit as assigned by House Supervisor
• Care for all Medical/Surgical patient types
• 1 shift orientation provided
• Dress code requires solid colored scrubs with no logos
• Free parking available
• Up to 7 days RTO approved with contract extension

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 277 hospital beds and multiple specialized services. The facility operates as a Level IV Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and serves as a Primary Stroke Center. The medical center provides advanced care with support services including rapid response teams, central telemetry monitoring with dedicated technicians, phlebotomy services, and comprehensive nursing support including CNAs, HUCs, and charge nurses.
